Great program
Strong Taekwondo and Hapkido teachers who thoroughly prepare their students for combat and self defense.
An excellent martial arts experience for young ones. My 5yr old son has improved his discipline, listening and respect both in the classroom, AND AT HOME! I cannot recommend it enough. Although I don't have personal experience with adult classes, I see the same folks coming in for the timeslots after us and they're definitely having a good time.

About Medford Kickboxing
An adult fitness kickboxing class runs next to a martial arts curriculum that the school says it teaches to all ages. For a referring professional, that means two separate tracks under one roof: structured martial arts for children and teens, and a conditioning class for adults.
Programs at Medford Kickboxing
Medford Kickboxing lists four programs: fitness kickboxing, teen and adult martial arts, kids martial arts and a preschool class. The preschool track is built around gross motor skills and play. The kids program, the school says, combines self defense with tradition.
The adult side splits in two. The teen and adult martial arts class pairs fitness goals with practical self defense. The kickboxing class is presented as a hard workout, and the school reports a burn of up to 1000 calories in 60 minutes or less. Medford Kickboxing also describes the aim of a safe, welcoming setting for students and their families.
When Medford Kickboxing runs classes
The gym opens at 9 am every day and closes at 8 pm on weekdays, earlier on weekends. Medford Kickboxing points new students to a posted class schedule and a web special for first sign ups.
How clients describe Medford Kickboxing
Parents most often mention gains in focus, confidence and respect in young children, and instructors who stay patient with shy children and with a child on the autism spectrum. Adults describe the kickboxing class as a fun way to exercise and release stress, in a friendly room with little judgement.
The one critical review came from the parent of a four year old, who felt the discipline style was too strict for a child that age. Families with preschoolers may want to watch a class first.
For an adult who needs structured group exercise, or a child working on focus and confidence, Medford Kickboxing in Medford runs separate programs for each, seven days a week.
