I cannot say enough good things about Ivy Park at Oakland Hills. Yolanda Harrell has created a culture of caring staff who make residents feel at home whether they are mostly independent or if they need a greater level of support. The apartments, common areas, gardens and view are gorgeous, and every staff member goes above and beyond to be friendly and welcoming and make sure each resident feels safe and included. Every day there are continuous activities that keep residents engaged, active and connected to the community.
I play music for the residents at Ivy Park. It’s my favorite place to play! The staff is so focused on the needs of the residents. Great place, great people.
My father has been at Ivy Park for more than 3 years. The staff is warm, caring and engaging with the residents. The programs for the residents are fabulous. In the past two weeks my dad has visited both the Oakland Museum and the Oakland Zoo. There is always a friendly, peaceful atmosphere when I visit which is quite frequent! I am grateful for the care and attention my father receives and feel confident he is in good hands when I am not with him.
